How to Choose the Right Table & Chair Sizes for Preschool Classrooms
Seat height has to match the licensed age mix. Confirm table and chair sizes before you freeze the SKU—do not copy a catalogue photo from a different age group.
Infant & toddler furniture sizing (0–3 years)
Age group: mixed-age or toddler rooms. Table height 12–16″ (30–40 cm). Chair seat height 5–8″ (13–20 cm). Use only where the licence includes younger children.
Preschool furniture sizing (3–6 years)
Age group: preschool / CASA (3–6 years). Table height 17–22″ (43–56 cm). Chair seat height 9–13″ (23–33 cm). This is the default for a 3–5 year classroom.
Mixed-age & flexible sizing
Multi-age rooms need more than one chair height. Do not freeze a single photo from a catalogue if the licence spans toddlers and kindergarten wrap.
