Funded hours are not a furniture grant
England’s 15/30-hour entitlements reduce what eligible families pay. Keep indoor furniture as a capital or operator line, not as something funded hours will reimburse.

Sleep furniture is specified to published product standards (for example BS EN 716 where that standard applies) with mattress fit and no extra bumpers on the line. No brand is Ofsted-certified. The setting’s inspectorate decides the inspection outcome.
Inclusive layout, not a UK furniture statute
Low storage, transfer space and calm seating can be listed for children with additional needs. That is specification — not another country’s design circular, and not a substitute for the child’s own plan.
Space Ratio Advisor
The 3D layout tests furniture against England EYFS usable indoor space: 3.5 m² under 2, 2.5 m² for two-year-olds, 2.3 m² for 3–5, excluding storage, thoroughfares, staff areas, cloakrooms, kitchens and toilets. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland use their own inspectorates.
